The title of my site came from the lack of available domain name associated with my actual name. I kept saying “My name is generic” negatively. However, I realized that what I wanted to do was show off my work, not my name. I realized that it didn’t matter if my name was generic as long as my work was unique. So I decided to embrace my generic name.
I view design as a way of creating resonance in people with their sense of order, form, and creativity. I hope that I can bring about change by using design as a means of persuasion for quality causes and ideas. I’m currently testing out this hope on a new project with some friends from college who just happen to be the greatest and most creative people I’ve ever met. Hopefully you’ll be hearing about it soon.
